Pixie Domestic Short Hair & Tiger Mix Medfield, MA

Pixie was recently found as a stray living a very dangerous life in an enormous hole where town trash was thrown in by the truckload and compacted. It is amazing she survived even one day.
She is about a year old and so pretty with her dark tiger coat and big, soulful eyes. She is too scared to walk around her cage right now very much and sleeps in a warm carrier. We do not know how long it will take for her to blossom. She accepts a small amount of petting so we know she was not born as a feral cat. She may stay a shy cat or there may be a lap cat hiding inside.
Pixie is being adopted "as is" to someone who is willing to give a shy cat a home. She accepts the other cat in her room coming by to say hello.

The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers so adoption meetings take place by appointment. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $125 if 5 years old or younger and $75 for cats 6 years and up. The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, microchip, testing for FeLV and spaying/neutering.
