Meet Pippy

PIPPY is a sweet and playful 2-year-old female kitty, who is white with a blanket of black and brown tabby markings on her head, back and tail. She has an adorable pink nose and lovely green eyes. While Pippy's an independent girl, she's also very affectionate, and loves a good ear or back scratch. She's got a frisky side and enjoys playing with ping pong balls and her tail. Pippy can be a bit shy at first, but she will show you her loving and gentle nature once she's had time to assess the situation. She prefers to come to you, and she'll reward you with a rumbling purr once she feels safe. While she's not exactly a lap cat, she tolerates being held like a baby, and she always wants to be around people. She'll happily share your bed and dive under the covers. Her favorite place is in the window watching squirrels and birds outside. Pippy was surrendered by a couple who could no longer look after her and has thrived in her loving foster home. It is unknown how Pippy will do around dogs or other cats, but she should be fine with cat-savvy kids. Pippy was an outdoor cat, and while she has acclimated well to being indoors in her foster home, she might be happiest in an indoor/outdoor household as long as it has a very SAFE, CLOSED OFF outdoor space, or where there is a roomy catio for her to enjoy. This sweet girl is so deserving of a wonderful, stable forever home and has lots of love to give to a lucky person or family. Pippy has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet wellness exam. Meet Pippy in her foster home with an approved adoption application which can be submitted online at CatRescues.org/Cat or a paper copy available at either Eugene PetSmart, Petco (Valley River Rd.) or Wags! Dog & Cat Emporium. The $120 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
