Meet Pipin
My name is Pipin and I am a female Lynx Point Siamese shorthaired mix kitten. I was once an outdoor kitten living on the streets with my momma cat. Late one night, I was out with my momma and we ran into a big dog that got loose from a yard. He started barking and growling, so we ran as fast as we could but, I was too slow, and the dog got me by the tail and shook me around wildly. He finally tossed me away and I ran. My tail was badly injured, and I did not know where my momma went. I hid until morning. Then, I started calling for her as loud as I could. Momma cat never heard me, but concerned people picked me up and took me to ACPS. A veterinarian took me to surgery right away, but there were too many broken bones and my tail could not be fixed. It had to be removed. I am ok with that because it does not hurt anymore. I look like a cute little bobcat. ACPS called Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue and asked if they could help find a home for me. They said yes and now I am in foster care.
Here is what my foster mom says about me - "Pipin is playful and intelligent. She is recovering from her ordeal and has made tremendous progress and is adjusting to a new home with other cats. She loves to be near us and purrs when she is my lap or sitting near me. Pipin has been through a lot. She is truly a gentle soul that deserves loving home. Being without a tail makes her adorable and she is perfectly fine without it. Her ordeal as made her somewhat shy and she will need some time adjusting in any new home. Pipin would do well in a more quiet household."
