Pip American Shorthair Brooklyn, NY

Pip (fka Goh) is the cat we TNR'd a couple years ago in Bushwick who mysteriously turned up in Union Square a few months ago. We still don't know how he got there but we suspected he must be friendly since he let someone transport him. He went to a foster home and with a little patience, he's become a wonderful house cat. "Pip has come a long way from his days living in Union Square Park. He is still a little shy, but has learned to love getting affection. He will let you know when it’s mealtime and gets really excited, rubbing his body all over, chirping, and purring while you pet him. Fun is the key to his heart! Pip gains a lot of confidence every time we give him a new toy or make him an obstacle course. He can often be found playing with his toys on his own or chasing his tail when he thinks no one‘s looking. He’s definitely still got some kitten in him!Pip’s a cat’s cat— he loves our resident cat and wants to follow her around and play with her. He would be happy in a home with another playful cat to be his buddy. Pip needs a family who understands shy cats and is willing to be patient while they gain his trust but we are certain that he will warm up and become a beloved member of the family. He is so happy to be living inside and just wants some snuggly places to nap, some cool toys, and nice people and kitties to hang out with."
