Cute as a button, PIP is a silly, sweet, and gentle tuxedo female kitten with a white streak up her face and white mittens, about 5 months old. Playing is her favorite activity! She is very clever and can often be found playing "the floor is lava" on the rungs of our dining chairs. Pip also enjoys playing on, in, and around structures like cat trees and boxes. Her favorite color must be blue, because she always picks out the blue toys! In her downtime, Pip likes to find cozy spots to nap in, and she loves to shadow our resident kitties - always following them with a musical purr! She, her littermates, and their young mama were abandoned just outside of town, taking shelter in a cluster of blackberry bushes. They were rescued and placed into loving foster homes so they could learn about just how good life with humans can be. Pip is still on the skittish side, but her foster family is so darn proud of how far she's come since the blackberry bushes! In a new place, she may hide under the couch at first, but she almost always comes out to play if she hears a jingle bell or sees a feather twirling around! After a little time in her foster home, she has learned to lounge comfortably in the same room as her humans. With encouragement, she will gently eat treats right out of your hands! Pip must have a confident and friendly young cat to show her the ropes and be her nap/playtime buddy. Pip is very ready to move into the next chapter of her life and settle in with her forever family!

Pip has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and includes a free wellness vet visit with our vet partners. To meet Pip in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 2-3 days for a possible meet and greet. The $150 ($270 for 2 Kittens) adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
