Meet Pierre
Meet Pierre – A True Survivor
Pierre is a sweet 7 year old buff and white tabby boy that weighs 11 pounds.
Pierre has quite the story. On a freezing night, Pierre was found lying motionless in the middle of a rural road, literally frozen and barely clinging to life. His rescuer stopped abruptly, scooped him up, and rushed him to safety. In critical condition, Pierre was hypothermic, unresponsive, and in desperate need of help. Veterinary care confirmed he had a bruised lung, broken teeth, and multiple abrasions. With immediate treatment, fluids, antibiotics, and lots of love from his foster mom, Pierre made a miraculous recovery all thanks to our friends with Rad Cat Rescue.
Thoughout his recovery, Pierre had a squinty watery eye and the vet confirmed he had Entropian which is a painful condition where the eyelid turns inward, causing the lashes to rub against the eye. Without treatment, it can lead to irritation, infection, and even vision loss. Pierre has now recovered from Entropian surgery on his right eye. You can see his transformation in these photos and he’s feeling SO much better!
Pierre is not only handsome, but also incredibly sweet and social. He is so docile in our cat rooms around all of the other cats and has blossomed into a loving, talkative, and affectionate companion. He adores belly rubs and being cradled like a baby, soaking up every bit of love he can get. With his handsome looks and sweet personality, Pierre is truly one-of-a-kind.
We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.
The adoption fee is $85 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for FELV/FIV, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
