Meet Phoebe Foster Care
Phoebe is 4 years old. She was with us with her kittens for 6 weeks and we learned right away that she is an incredible mom: very loving, nurturing, and protective of her babies. I think she would do best in a family that is home a lot, she loves the attention (especially having her chin and ears rubbed), but then she just wants to be near you. I also think she would do best in a home without too much noise, she is shy and sensitive. She will sit near you when you are reading or watching TV, but if you say her name she will get up and say hello, get some lovings and then sit by you. I think Phoebe is a shy cat who will take time to really come out of her shell in her forever family. When we first let her out of the “kitten room”, she walked around, with her long beautiful tail up and then she just hid under the coach until we bribed her with some treats.
*******Whoever adopts Phoebe will get an amazing cat! But they need to understand that she is very sensitive so she might be hiding under the bed for a few days, maybe even a week. She might not have an appetitite, because she just doesnt like change. Please give her a chance, she is worth it!
Phoebe is current on vaccinations - distemper/parvo, dewormed, spayed.
Adoption Fee $ 95 (if adopted with one of her kittens, the adoption fee is $200 for both)
This tax-deductible fee pays for the vaccinations, spay/neuter, boarding, food, and overall care of all the animals at the shelter.
**If you're unable to adopt, please consider donating or volunteering your time to these deserving animals currently living at HHP. They require care and love on a daily basis, which adds up monetarily. Our shelter is funded by donations and adoption fees alone. The need is great within our community and your support matters.
If you have questions, please stop by any day between 1pm-6pm. Contact our office at (406) 896-1700 or Angie (406) 860-8735.
