Meet Phineas
Phineas is a very sweet and social guy. He loves human attention.
Phineas is an estimated 1.5 year old male neutered bundle of love! He came to us as a TNR but far from acting feral, he kept asking for pets and gladly leaped into our arms when his trap was opened. On his intake exam, Phineas was covered in lice, had severely swollen foot pads (‘Pillow Foot’) and corneal scars from prior infections. Phineas underwent treatment and is now free of lice, his foot pad issues have resolved, and he is looking for a very special adopter. Phineas has a GI parasite called cryptosporidium which has no definitive treatment. It is estimated up to 10% of cats may be carriers or exposed to this parasite, which can be transmitted to other cats and immune-compromised persons. His special person would be someone with a healthy immune system and good hygiene and no other cats (or another cat with cryptosporidium). Phineas is very social and takes his supplements well. Please come say hi to this special boy and you will see why we all worked so hard to help him!
Adoption hours: Saturdays 12-4 PM at 6022 Mountain Road Germansville.
