Meet Phaedra
FOSTERED IN: Chicago, IL 60634
ESTIMATED DOB: 07/2020
COLOR/BREED: Gray Shorthair
KIDS: Yes
DOGS: Some
CATS: Yes
HISTORY:
Phaedra came from a suburban animal control facility.
ABOUT:
Phaedra is a people-person and loves to sit by/with people and loves to be pet. Phaedra met her foster’s nephews and was happy to make herself available for all the petting and enjoys being held so we think she would do well in homes with children. When Phaedra is being held she sometimes gets wiggly with excitement and slips out of your hands. Phaedra will come right up to you and beg for attention and reward your obedience with plenty of purrs. If you are ignoring her she will gently bat your legs, face, or whatever is within reach to get your attention. Phaedra had some reservations when she first met the resident dogs and often chose to stay on her side of the baby gate hissing at any canine who dared to get too close; but she has recently become more adventurous and will step into their territory. We think Phaedra would do just fine with a dog who won’t find her particularly interesting and will leave her alone most of the time. Phaedra is not exposed to the resident cats as they aren’t interested in meeting the temporary boarders, but we think Phaedra would do great in a home with other cats and would prefer that she be adopted into a home with another friendly cat.
