Petunia's Story

Introducing Petunia........This beautiful black kitty has an approximate DOB of 7/23/23. Petunia has been spayed & is up to date on her vaccinations. She is a bit shy & timid right now, but our volunteers are trying to make her feel more comfortable. The shelter can be a scary place for newcomers until they realize they will be getting food, safety, a warm bed & toys. I'm sure she'll settle in soon ??

Happy Tails Adoption policies....Potential adopter must fill out an adoption application after visiting with the pet of your choice. It will be reviewed by a board member. If qualified, an adoption fee will be paid by adopter in the form of cash or check. If adopted pet does not work out it must be returned to Happy Tails Animal Shelter, 8954 N.W. Shafer Drive, Monticello In.

Our Mission

Puppies and dogs age to 6yrs , adoption fee is $130.00 Senior dogs 7 and older are $80.00 Cats 1 yr and older are $45.00, this incudes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, FIV negative, flea preventative, litter box trained. Kittens are $60.00, this includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, FIV negative, and litter box...
