Petunia's Story

Petunia is pure delight. She's a smart, curious, and friendly cat who absolutely loves playing and socializing. She is brave, boldly greeting new people, and doesn't frighten easily by new experiences or loud noises, acclimating quickly. She enjoys the company of other cats, and while she hasn't been around dogs, expresses curiosity at the neighbor's dog. She loves to birdwatch and watch the world go by from a window perch, while being your best bud.

She loves to intensely play with a wand toy, but will also play on her own, with toy mice among her favorite (and often digging into the toy box to see what's exciting and new!). Petunia loves to explore and enjoys elevation, whether its a tall cat tree or top of the fridge, but behaves well in the home. She can be treat motivated at times, but isn't too demanding her meal times. She enjoys sleeping with her human, and is affectionate on her own terms, particularly enjoying headbutts and ear rubs. She is easy to pick up and will occasionally settle into your lap.

Petunia would be best in a home where there is already a resident cat that likes other felines, but would also do well solo in an active home with lots of attention.

Petunia the kitty for you?
