Persephone is a gentle young mama, about 1–2 years old, with a shy little soul. She gets along quietly with dogs—she’ll lie near them without a fuss—so we believe she’s dog-friendly. Right now she prefers the safety of hiding behind the couch, but with time and patience, she’ll blossom.<br/><br/>Persephone was rescued from behind a local nursing home where she was caring for her kittens. She’s now spayed, fully vaccinated, and dewormed—and currently being fostered in Cleveland, Texas—just waiting for a safe, loving home where she can finally exhale and feel secure.
