My Story

Percy is a gorgeous longhaired orange boy who was found on the streets of Kuwait. He was initially shy and skinny, but has fluffed out into an amazingly handsome, sweet boy.

Percy was afraid of hands moving toward him, but now, after an initial settlement time, loves pets and attention. He has playful energy and loves interactive toys, especially the laser pointer which he could play with for hours. He loves to be close to his foster mom, and wants to sleep on the foot of the bed or snuggled up next to her.

Percy enjoys bird-watching as well as lounging beside someone who is on their laptop or sharing a movie with him. He is vocal and can carry on a great conversation, and his love of treats and food have been great for bonding with people. Percy has perfect litterbox manners.

Because Percy is still frightened of sudden movement, we feel he would do best in a quiet home with no young children.

Percy has traveled all the way from Kuwait to NoVa hoping to find the family he can feel safe and bond forever with. With patience to help Percy feel safe, he will be a wonderful family addition.
