Looking for a cat with personality, affection, and comedic timing? Meet Pepper, our gorgeous long-haired tortie who has a whole lot to say - until you give her cuddles or a snack, that is!

At 4 years old, Pepper has the confidence of a cat who knows what she wants: love, attention, and a cozy indoor-only lifestyle (more on that in a sec). She came to us as a stray, but her temporary foster reported she was an absolute sweetheart - adored their children, didn't mind their cat or dogs, and happily soaked up all the affection she could get.

Pepper is affectionate, hilarious, and incredibly endearing. She'll rub against your legs like she's known you forever and follow you around chatting until she gets her snuggle quota. She's that perfect blend of independent and loving.

Now, fair warning: Pepper did give us quite the scare when she slipped out of our facility and went on a brief unsupervised adventure. Luckily, she strolled right onto a kind neighbor's property and was safely returned - but because of her curious (and slightly sneaky!) nature, we don't recommend leash training, open patios, or unfenced yards. This girl is best as an indoor-only queen.
