MEET PENNY LANE!
As the Fab Four sang, "Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes!" This sweet and gorgeous girl is around 10 years old and made her way to City of Elderly Love after being surrendered to a local shelter after her former owners could no longer care for a pet. Penny had some medical issues that needed to be addressed and is now likely feeling better than she has in years! She's now also ready to land her forever home!
Penny is a stunning Flame Point siamese with a cream and buff coat and bright blue eyes. She's the ultimate couch buddy and will be right by you for every Netflix binge! She loves her people, loves pets and snuggles and is also very chatty! Penny is currently living with other cats with whom she isn't thrilled to share her space. We think she'd do best as an only-pet so that she isn't stressed out and she doesn't stress out other pets. That's okay though, she'll provide you more than enough love!
When Penny came to the rescue, she was diagnosed with diabetes. Luckily after a short course of insulin, she went into remission! Her blood sugar is now being controlled appropriately with just a low-carb wet food diet. She is otherwise healthy and feeling great!
