Penny is a very loving girl who just wants to lay around basking in the sun. She too, came to us very scared and took a lot of patience and time to get used to us and our house but now will come out and sit on our laps while watching TV. Isn't a fan of loud noises and may take some time to get adjusted.

$100 adoption fee per adult cat.

Hardest part of rescue is:
- Not being able to save every cat.
- Finding excellent homes for our rescues.

Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In order to make sure cats under our care go to the safest and most compatible homes we require adoptees to fill out our Rescue’s application and accept a home visit.

We do not have a shelter. All our rescues are in foster homes.

The $100 adoption fee per cat insures that all cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), microchipped, vaccinated for FVRCP (feline distemper), dewormed, and have been treated for fleas.
