Meet Pekoe!
Pekoe is one hot cuppa tea! She's a big personality and we can't wait to see who falls in love with this diva. She came to us when her previous guardian had to go overseas, and she's now thriving in a foster home. Would you like to meet Pekoe or learn more about her, call us at 604-922-4622!
Pekoe likes touch and cuddles on her own terms, and for this reason she's looking for an adult only forever home. Her foster-mom brushes her and she loves to purrrr and knead, but will walk away when she's had enough. Good thing she enjoys being brushed, because she has a long luxurious coat that any adopter will need to help her maintain. Pekoe isn't going to be the kind of cat who wants to be pet and held all day - instead she will come to you for affection when she desires and will otherwise love to be near you while she watches out the windows and chats with the birds. She also sleeps under the covers with her current foster parents! Bird-watching is her FAVE activity. You can often spot her fluffy toes sticking out from her cozy bed, and she'll spring out to say hi when you enter the room. She loves baby talk and will melt with compliments about how beautiful and perfect she is. Although she's not a big fan of being picked up, Pekoe will happily follow you around, trailing behind like a sweet little companion and purring when she's in the mood for pets. She has even started climbing under the covers at night with her foster mom!
