Seeking cat whisperer for Pebble who belonged to a feral cat colony and was trapped at age 4 months. At first, he was very anxious and just wanted to hide. After being in the cat condo for a week, enjoying tasty food and treats, and sleeping on soft cushions, he became comfortable with his foster parents and purred when being petted. Pebble LOVES to play with all kinds of toys, but still acts scared when he is picked up or is outside the condo. He would probably be happy to be adopted into a home in which a friendly feline already resides. Pebble will be okay with children over age 10, who could play with him with wand toys and understand his needs. Pebble watches the two large dogs in the foster home with interest. He has never hissed at them, and just a few days ago he tried to gently tap one of the dogs, when she stood close to the condo.
Pebble will be available for a meet and greet, by appointment. We are confident that once Pebble overcomes the last hurdle of leaving some feral behaviour behind him, he will be a loving, funny and happy furry friend to share his life with you. Pebble eats dry kitten food and half a can of wet food in the morning and evening. He is also always looking forward to getting his treats in the evening. He is eagerly waiting for his own loving family.
Pebble was born approximately September 15, 2022, and his adoption fee is $160, or adopt two and the second is half off. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, is microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. Come see this sweetheart at our adoption center this weekend!
You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. For more information, or to confirm whether a particular cat or kitten will be present that weekend, please email kittycityks@aol.com. Kitty City Kansas Rescue is a volunteer, non-profit organization.
