Meet Pearl
Pearl is a 3-year old, domestic short-hair cat who will fill her forever home with her huge personality and beautiful face!
Pearl loves to be around people and insists on sharing your space and attention. In the morning, she’s excited to hop on a lap for a morning snuggle and head-scratch.
When the chickadees show up at the bird feeder, she’ll bounce off to her hiding spot behind the arm of the couch. Once the workday starts, she’ll find a spot within close range to nap and periodically pass by for pets.
If you leave the house, she’ll watch from the window until you’re gone; when you return, she’ll inspect your bags for interesting smells and shapes while she lets you know how much she missed you.
In the evening, she’ll oscillate between spurts of sprinting and prodding everything that looks like it might move, to passing out in whatever sprawled pose gravity gives her. And if you happen to look at her in a way she perceives as mischievous, you can expect to open the bathroom door to a crouching tiger with a shaking toosh and a five-toed target. Pearl is a jester and will keep your spirits up and giggles going.
With that big personality comes strong opinions and preferences. She has a refined and constantly changing taste for treats and toys. A lady has the right to change her mind, doesn't she?
Pearl lost her family and ended up in a shelter which was super scary for her. As a result of this trauma, it takes a little bit for Pearl to build trust and let down her boundaries. She would do best with a sensitive, experienced cat owner that understands the feline way.
She is very smart and engaged in the world around her so she needs a good dose of both physical and mental play each day. Her foster family has introduced clicker training which we encourage her new family to continue.
She currently lives in a quiet house with two human housemates and would fit especially well in a household that is mostly at home and does not include young kids.
When given the opportunity to trust, Pearl is a doll that will be a loyal part of your family and love you forever!

Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
