Peanut's Story
Peanut is an adorable 1-year-old male Bengal cat who is looking for a family who can keep him busy! His owner absolutely adores him but is living in a tiny apartment. She realizes that he needs more room to stretch and run, and he needs to have people who will be home more often, to keep him entertained.

Peanut has not been around children or other cats, and he has been around a mellow dog and did “OK.” In general we find that if Bengals have not grown up with other pets, by the time they get to rescue, they are not necessarily “flexible” about joining a multi-pet household. We think he would likely do OK with children 10 years and up who have been taught proper play techniques.

Peanut loves to be outdoors on a harness and loves to look at birds. When he is not outdoors his owner plays "8 hours of birds" on YouTube for him - he loves to watch. He also loves his cat tree and loves to play with crumpled up paper. He loves to watch people cook (he’s a foodie!) and he really loves drinking out of his water fountain. Peanut is super affectionate and he LOVES curling up in soft fuzzy blankets for a nap. Peanut loves Morning cuddles as well.

Peanut does not like to be overstimulated, and like most Bengals he does not appreciate being picked up.

We think he would do great in a home where he has lots of room to run / play / stretch his legs. We think he would love a cat wheel, as well.

Peanut is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on Vaccinations. He has no litter box avoidance issues nor any medical conditions.
