Peaches Calico Greenburgh, NY

Meet PEACHES. She is a GORGEOUS CALICO female whose owner was admitted into an assisted living facility and sadly wasn’t able to care for Peaches any longer. Peaches is 14 years old and she and her owner had a very special bond. We promised her owner that we would make sure to find her a wonderful, forever home. Peaches is DECLAWED on all four paws. She is VERY SWEET and LOVING. Peaches will require a patient and understanding adopter (adult only home), ideally one who has experience with senior declawed cats. Peaches was previously in a foster home with other pets and was quiet stressed out (this caused changes in her eating and litter box habits). Thankfully one of our volunteers is now fostering Peaches and she is thriving in a space with no other pets. Peaches enjoys wet food but should have small portions to not upset her belly. Peaches will need a low, open litter box so she can easily get in and out. Peaches will do best without any cat beds as she does sometimes mistake them for a litter box. Peaches had a full bloodwork panel done which was normal and a recent urinalysis was also normal. We do realize she is quite the senior so Peaches will need someone who understands they will be giving this gal a place to rest comfortably and enjoy life during her golden years. * Peaches will do best without any fluffy and bulky cat beds as she does sometimes mistake them for a litter box, but the flat mats are fine. Peaches is currently located in Westchester, NY. She is spayed, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.
