Peach's Story

Meet Peach ("Miss Bedtime"), the queen of cozy! This lovely lady has one very important rule: she only accepts pets and snuggles when she's in her bed. Her bed is her safe spot, her throne and her favorite place to soak up love. Step into her royal chamber (a fluffy cat bed), and you'll be granted permission to give her pets, scratches and gentle chin rubs. Anywhere else? She'll politely decline, thank you very much!
Outside of her bed, she's independent and likes to do her own thing, but once she's nestled in, she'll happily accept all the chin scratches and head rubs you have to offer! It's like she has her own office hours for snuggles, and you better believe she runs a tight ship!
She's the perfect mix of affectionate and low maintenance, making her a great companion for someone who appreciates a cat with clear boundaries and a big heart. Could that be you?
PLEASE NOTE:
I am a healthy girl but I did test positive for FIV at checkup. FIV is a common virus in cats that is mostly transmitted via deep bite wounds. I can still groom other cats and share food dishes and water with them. As long we aren't biting each other, we can live together safely and happily. I'm an all around very good kitty who would fit in many types of homes. I look forward to meeting my future family!
For more info about FIV, check out https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv.
Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)
Suggested Articles On the lookout for FIV Ask Elizabeth: Can I catch FIV from my cat?
