Meet Patsy
Meet Patsy! Patsy and her siblings Tammy and George were rescued from a TNR project. Patsy foster mom says although Patsy is the tiniest of her litter she is the bravest! She loves to explore and play. Patsy's personality is still developing and her likes and dislikes are changing as she grows. She loves hanging out with her siblings to play and explore! Patsy would like to be adopted into a home with another feline friend....perhaps one of her siblings? If you are interested in Patsy or her siblings submit an adoption application and once we receive it we will contact you!
Ask about our Foster-To-Adopt Program! Kittens that are @ 8 weeks old can be placed into approved forever homes in a foster-to-adopt situation prior to adoption. To begin the process simply submit an adoption application located on our webpage at operationhood.org. Once we receive your application our Adoption Coordinator will contact you!
Adoption Fee's:
Under 6 months – $150.00
6 months to 1 year – $100.00
Over 1 year – $75.00
The Foster-to Adopt program is in place for two primary reasons:
1.) To monitor the dynamics with other pets and make sure the addition to the family is a positive experience prior to the commitment to adopt.
2.) To allow the kitten(s) to be in and become comfortable with its’ forever home in cases where the animal is too young to be spayed or neutered. Once the kitten is of age and ready to be spayed/neutered we will arrange the appointment for you to take them in. There is not place like home to get lots of TLC and recovery is less stressful where you feel comfortable!
Please keep in mind the commitment when adopting kitten(s) as the the typical lifespan ranges somewhere between 13 and 17 years, according to the ASPCA. However, it isn't uncommon for indoor cats to live to at least 20+ years.
All cats adopted through Operation Hood have been or will be (depending on age) spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and receive FeLV/FIV tests, rabies vaccination, de-wormer, and flea & tick treatment.
