Meet Patience and Alf

For more information or to arrange to meet this kitty please email their foster at

Like many cats, Alf is shy at first meet, but once acclimated he’s quite cheerful, chirping and seeking pets. He’s a good boy, age is seven, no health challenges to date and the ideal home would be one that is calm and quiet and with a patient cat savvy person or couple. He has recently had his checkup and his teeth cleaned. He lives with two small cat friendly dogs but does not seek them out. He also lives with other cats and the occasional foster kitten. His ideal companion if adopter is seeking two is Patience who came to us nearly 4 years ago emaciated and with two kittens. She was frightened and had clearly been mistreated. She responded favorably to the house cats that tried to make her feel safe. She has made great progress, always in view and also talkative. She remains head shy but has gained significant confidence and has also recently had her checkup and had her teeth cleaned. She is estimated to be about six as well.

Stop by the Annapolis or Arundel Mills Petsmarts every Saturday between Noon - 2 pm to see our cats that need loving homes. Not all of our cats attend every adoption show so please send an email before you come to meet a particular cat so we can make appropriate arrangements.

ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION: Cats R Us is a not for profit, 501(c)(3) cat rescue group that operates two small shelters and a foster home program in the Annapolis, Maryland area. Our main focus is TNR-M (Trap, Neuter, Return and Monitor) of community cats but we also have tame cats and kittens available for adoption. All of our adoptable cats and kittens are found as strays. We are a NO KILL facility and our cats will stay with us as long as it takes for them to find their forever home. Our adoption fee is $120.00 for kittens under 1 year (2 for $200), $100 for cats over 1 year (2 for $180), and $150 - $250 for exotic breed cats or kittens. The adoption fee covers all initial vet work including the kitten or cat being spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FeLV and FIV (unless otherwise noted), treated for parasites (fleas, ticks, intestinal worms, ear mites), and microchipped.
