We are thrilled to introduce Paterson! This handsome gentleman is just under 2 years old and adores spending time with you watching catflix, catching up on the daily mews, and simply assuring you that he is your purr-son, and you are forever his!
Paterson is an A+ cat condo climber, and excels in watching the local feathered friends fly around outside. He enjoys a good toy wand and so far...has almost caught it! He's sure with perseverance it will ultimately be his.
Paterson is shy around new faces but once he warms up he happily accepts calm, gentle pets. A laid back home that will give him the time he needs to settle in and adjust is key for Paterson's transition to his forever family. With a little love and reassurance, perhaps even with a fur sibling or two, he will settle in beautifully.
Paterson is now interviewing for his forever person, and hopes to meet you soon!

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered.We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.
Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!
All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
