Patches is a lovely girl who came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue when her owner became ill and could no longer care for her. Our friends over a The Cozy Cat Resort made room for her at their facility since we had no open foster homes and we cannot thank them enough!

Patches is a bit shy with people she doesn’t know but give her a bit of time and she will warm right up and insist on sleeping with you on the bed or curl up with you on the couch while you read, watch tv, whatever.

She has been known to get on the counters and scratch the furniture when bored. But those are easy fixes; with some well-placed scratching posts and a gentle redirection on where you want her to be and scratch. She loves to play with toys, get brushed and watch the birds out of the window.

This girl is SO super sweet with her people and just a joy to be around. We are unsure how she would be around other animals or kids as she has never lived with anyone but her older human. However, if the kids are older and not loud/rowdy we think she’d be fine. And other animals would likely be fine with a slow introduction (we can teach you how to do that).
