Pashima is a domestic short haired dilute tortoise shell (Tortie) spayed female, up to date on her shots, around 3 years old and available for adoption to be an indoor ONLY cat from Griffith Animal Control/ Treasured Friends Rescue in NWI.

Hi! I was a mama but all my kittens found homes and now it's my time! I want my home! It's cat nip o' clock time for this mama! I have lots of energy and I love to play! I love pets too! I'm just so happy to be inside! I don't have to worry about where my next meal for myself (or my kittens) is coming from or finding a safe place to sleep and having more and more kittens. I'm lucky someone helped me and got me and my kittens off the streets to live the good life...and I'm so thankful and happy! I'm a little shy, but once I get to know you, I'm a cute, petite and happy- go- lucky sweet girl! I REALLY want my own home and someone (or a family) to love me. I'm not a kitten, but I have lots of love to give and I want to catch up on all the play time I missed out on because I was outside just trying to survive with kittens.

Come see me at the shelter ! I have my own room there and we can meet! I like other kitties and to play, so a home with another kitty (with the proper introduction) who wouldn't mind playing would be great! However, probably NO dogs. I'm a sweet kitty, so older kids might be okay.

Griffith Animal Control, in partnership with Treasured Friends Animal Rescue believes in giving kitties that others wouldn't normally get a chance at getting a forever home, a chance! Our fosters & volunteers work with shy and/or unsocialized kitties everyday to get them used to being pet and to show them they are safe. However, when they go to a new home, some kitties will require extra time to get used to new surroundings and different people. Please consider giving a kittie who might need a little time to get used to a new home, a chance. This is a serious commitment and it sets the kitties back in their level of trust if they are given up after a few weeks or months. Please, only apply if you are an experienced cat owner and have patience.
