Cooper - Gorgeously grump-faced female, tuxedo, born 10/27/22
***Parker***
Parker came into our care as a kitten that couldn’t walk. It turned out he had hydrocephalus, a rare condition caused by too much fluid in his brain. We were able to treat him and he regained the ability to walk, but he was left with some neurological quirks. He is extra chatty and has an adorable loud meow! He doesn’t always enjoy high places and climbing. He also has a bigger head than normal. However, he lives a mostly normal life. There is no further treatment needed for his hydrocephalus, but he may be prone to other neurological issues as he ages.
Parker enjoys people and will follow you around and watch you while you go about your day. He enjoys rubbing up against your legs and his tail twitches when he’s happy. Being picked up isn’t his favorite thing.
Parker LOVES other cats. He is our cafe greeter and whenever we move in a new cat, he immediately wants to be their best friend and help them feel safe. His favorite cat is another long term resident, Cooper. Cooper is extremely shy, but Parker’s presence makes her more brave. She will come and rub up on your legs and allow you to pet her.
For this reason Parker and Cooper are considered a bonded pair and we can’t adopt them out separately.
***Cooper***
Cooper is a shy girl that has lived in our cafe for over 2 years now! She came to us as a kitten that needed to be socialized. She has made such huge improvements, but she’s still wary of strangers. Once she gets to know you, she allows petting and will rub up on your legs to try to get your attention.
She loves carriers, we think the enclosed space helps her feel safe. The love of her life is her best friend Parker. They are bonded, and when Parker is nearby she really comes out of her shell and starts seeking human attention! Parker and Cooper must find a home together with a patient adopter willing to take the time to earn their trust.
Could you be the one to take on these funny little lovebirds? Come visit them at Fat Cat Cafe to see if you're the next chapter in their love story!
