Extremely sweet affectionate cat! Papaya - buff & white, 4-year old, female.
Papaya showed up at a feeding station set up in Norristown PA. When the feeder came out of her kitchen door with food for the colony, Papaya ran right into her house! She obviously knew she didn't want to live on the streets. Forgotten Cats trapped her (actually, she was picked up and put in a carrier, no trap needed). We found she was spayed & micro-chipped but her previous owner didn't want her back. We cannot imagine why. As soon as we walk into the room, she reaches through her cage bars, purring like a motorboat, eager for attention. She is super friendly! We haven't had her with other cats yet, but we have not seen ANY signs of aggression or annoyance at the other cats at our facility. We think she is appropriately named -- she's as sweet as the sweetest fruit! Interested in 2 cats? Fleur de Lis was with her in the alley.
