Meet PAPA SMURF! He is a 8-9 year old male kitty who somehow found himself in a feral cat colony being bullied by the dominant males. Thankfully he made his way to us safely. Papa is shy at first so will require time, patience, and understanding to come out of his shell. Once he does, Papa loves being PET so much that he will lean right into you for hours. Papa also really LOVES OTHER CATS so we would love for him to have a friendly feline companion in his new home. Papa would also love a QUIET HOME (no kids or dogs or a lot of commotion) because he does get nervous with loud noises and sudden movement. Papa Smurf is a ONE of KIND cat who has captured the hearts of our volunteers and of his foster family with his KIND, GENTLE, and SWEET ways. Papa was adopted and returned once already because he was hiding under the bed, so we really are rooting for him to find the perfect adopter. This WONDERFUL guy deserves a loving, forever home. Papa Smurf is in residence in Westchester, NY. He is neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative. WATCH HIS VIDEO!!!
