Meet Pablo

Who would like to own a giant panther kitty? Tipping the scales at 20 lbs. Pablo is an oversized kitty who could benefit from an environment that helps him along his weight loss journey. Ideally, he should be an only cat and fed a low calorie diet free of canned food and added treats. His options at the shelter are to either stay isolated in a cage on a low calorie diet, or run free in a room where he eats regular calorie food. We chose the option that gave him the most exercise but he really needs a home where he can have the best of both worlds and a person who can give him the attention he craves.

Pablo was brought to us by one of our volunteers who works for a boarding facility. His owners did not return to claim him after his initial boarding period. He is scared and confused at the shelter. We do not know how he would react with other cats in a household. He doesn't fight with any cats here, but he occasionally growls. He has some jealousy issues and wants to be the only cat petted when volunteers go in the room! He absolutely loves people, though, and being the center of attention.

He is FIV/FeLV negative, neutered, litter trained, and vaccinated. Please consider making an appointment to see if Pablo is the right fit for your household!

**Our shelter has a policy to only adopt within a 50 mile radius so that if problems arise, the pet can easily be returned to the shelter. Thank you for understanding.
