Ozzy is a beautiful soul. He’s going to need a special home that can show him the love, patience and care he deserves. We don’t know how long he was on the streets fending for himself, but it’s definitely been his way of life for quite some time. But he for sure knew love at some point.

He is friendly with his foster family and LOVES chin rubs! He has his scars both physical and mental from life on his own. Ozzy will hide in a quiet place during the day. Reminiscent of his life on the streets, he comes out during sundown hours. If we are up late enough and the house quiets down he will come out and join you on the couch. He is great with the other foster cats in the home and does play with them. He is not fond of dogs and shows fear. He also is uncertain and fearful of loud noises, so a home with older children or no children would be best. He’s going to need time and patience to learn that he doesn’t need to hide during daylight hours. He has transitioned into an indoor life with no issues at all and we know he is grateful.

Ozzy needs to a special diet that we haven’t figured out yet. He has been dewormed and had multiple doses of a prebiotic but continues to have bathroom troubles. Never any accidents outside of the litter box and he is a very clean cat. He just needs some attention to figure out what will help his tummy settle.

He truly is a sweetheart who’s just had a rough life. Lucky enough he was being fed by a good samaritan who saw how sweet he was and reached out for help. He has been a great foster and needs a quiet home who will continue to work with him and watch him grow.
