Ophelia's Story

All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step. Sweet Ophelia was a stray found outside with her kittens. A kind worker from Bensons reached out to us for help. She is super sweet and a great mama. Right now it is hard to determine if she would be ok with cats and dogs because she is protective of her kittens. Currently, she has negative reactions to other cats and dogs (with her kittens around). if you are a swiftie, yes, she is named after Taylor swifts new album and song! All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only.
