Meet Opal Grandma
This beautiful senior lady loves to cuddle and play. She loves curling up in her foster's lap when she's watching a movie or reading a book. Opal likes playing with toys but would rather be cuddled up next to you whenever possible.
This calico gal is a professional lap heater, with a love of head scratches and being groomed. She enjoys people-watching out her foster's window, as well as being a professional purring machine.
Opal is a low-energy cat. She does have a lot of energy for her age and will get spurts of playing, but would prefer to be flopped over in bed. She does have great mobility for her age, and has no issues getting around.
Currently Opal lives in a one=bedroom apartment with a female in her early 20s who lives alone. There are two rabbits in the home but they have minimal interaction with Opal.
This lovely lady would thrive in a slower-paced home filled with lots of love. If you're a bookworm or homebody looking for your soulmate grandma, Opal is your gal! Her foster is currently gone for 9 hours a day and Opal does okay alone, but truly prefers company. Ideally, she would be in a calm environment with someone who works from home or is around a lot to give her the love and lap time she so richly enjoys.
Opal would also prefer to be the only animal in your care, so you can give her all the attention! This vibrant senior lady is so ready to enjoy her golden years in a loving, calm home. If you'd like the perfect companion for cozy fall days on the couch or the reading chair, please consider adding this jewel of a kitty, Opal, to your family.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated.
Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat?
