Meet Opal
This young lady with her captivating teal green eyes is as sweet as she is beautiful. Opal's serene, affectionate nature makes you fall in love with her immediately. She loves to be with people and when you call her name, she runs to you for pets. She will stretch up to reach your hand so you don't even have to bend over!
While she loves people, she has not shown a preference for cats. Opal was in labor when rescued and once her kittens were born, she was very protective of them even when housed in a separate room. She was quickly on guard duty by the door should another cat come near but totally at ease with her foster mom handling the kittens.
Opal deserves to be babied herself and would be best as an only cat. She will make a loving companion to the lucky person who adopts her
