Meet Opal
Hello, I'm Opal! I am a gorgeous cat with medium-length black fur and I take very good care of myself. Grooming and self-care is important to me and I like my sleek and beautiful coat to be looking it's best at all times.
Just a few weeks ago I was out in the wild which certainly made it very hard to take care of myself geesh! I don't even know how I ended up out there in the desert, but I did and so I sought help at Desert Haven Animal Refuge. I wandered up to a volunteer and told her I needed her help. She let me into a safe space and the team of volunteers got to work assessing my health (I'm in tip-top shape!) and getting me to the vet for my shots and a spay surgery.
Now, here I am, all ready for adoption! What a whirlwind of a few weeks. I'm going to just take naps and decompress now and let the volunteer Kitty Cuddlers do their jobs to help me feel comfortable and safe and secure.
I love food and treats so that is certainly a way to my heart. I am looking for a new family and loving home now. I want a family who wants to love me and will keep me safe. It is time! If you think we will be a good match, come meet me soon. Love, Opal
