Onyx...Hero Dad Looking for Forever Home

MRQ# 1Z5-24-0

DOB: 02/14/23

Are you ready to welcome a hero into your home? Meet Onyx, a courageous black male cat who was discovered abandoned on a hiking trail, bravely protecting his five precious kittens when their mother was nowhere to be found. Onyx's story is one of resilience and love, and now he's ready to find his forever family who will cherish him for the remarkable cat he is. Onyx is a special cat with a heart of gold. His protective instincts extend beyond his kittens to his
human companions—he's incredibly loyal and deeply affectionate once he trusts you. Onyx has the highest play drive of any foster cat his caretaker has encountered, showing a zest for life and playfulness that is infectious.
However, Onyx's journey hasn't been without challenges. He may need to be the only cat in the household, as he can get overstimulated and occasionally gives gentle "love bites" when he's overwhelmed with affection. With patience and understanding, Onyx will gradually adjust to his new home and shower his adopter with love and companionship. If you're looking to give a second chance to a brave and loving cat who deserves a forever home, Onyx is waiting for you. Come meet this extraordinary feline and witness firsthand the incredible
spirit that has touched the hearts of those who have cared for him. Adopt Onyx today and be rewarded with a loyal companion and a heartwarming story of courage and resilience.
Onyx's Details:
- Breed: Black domestic shorthair
- Age: Adult
- Personality: Brave, protective, affectionate, with a high play drive
- Special Needs: Likely best as the only cat; may get overstimulated and give
gentle love bites
- Is litter box trained
-Adopter needs to have experience with cats
-Should be the ONLY pet in the home
-Is a very ACTIVE kitty
-Is very outgoing and independent
-Can be adopted singly

Onyx needs time to adjust to his new home ,,,he has come along way since I started fostering him...he needs to go a solo with no other cats in the house ...he was found abandoned with his five kids and he stood by and protected them..given time he will probably get along with a companion. He was neutered on June 27th and I Noticed he is more affectionate
