One Tough Cookie Domestic Short Hair Chewelah, WA

This darling little girl was brought in after being found in a garage with a severely injured leg. We suspect she was caught in a car engine. Attempts to save the leg failed, and it had to be amputated, but she zips around now like nothing ever happened.


She was spayed at the same time as her amputation, and vaccinated as well, but will need a booster vaccine and rabies vaccine towards the end of August. She was tested for Feline Leukemia and is negative.


Cookie's foster home is very happy with her; she gets along well with both dogs and cats, and loves people. Her amputation is healing well and she is ready to go to a permanent, loving home.

8/9/12: Wow! within 2 hours of posting Cookie's profile, we've already got a potential adopter coming up to meet her! Hopefully, Cookie will be moved to the adopted list by the end of the week.


8/10/12: Cookie is off to a new home, she cuddled right up and started loving on her adopter within minutes of meeting her. Good luck, Cookie!
