Meet Ombray
Meet Ombray:
This big boy is a huge purring love bug, thanks to our fabulous volunteers. He gets so relaxed when he is petted and looks forward to the attention. Ombray loves to play and hang out with his buddy, Baxter, a handsome gray plushie (see photo). He is one of our FIV+ kitties. Estimated DOB: 4/25/15
A note about FIV. FIV is not transmittable to humans in any way. It is transmitted among cats through a deep, penetrating bite. Most cats with FIV are asymptomatic, need no medication, and can live long full lives with the same risk of illnesses as any other cat. If they get a sniffle or infection, they need immediate vet care because of their weaker immune systems, but this does not necessarily shorten their lives.
PLEASE DO NOT use the Petfinder Adopt Me application because we require more information. Instead please use our online application request form only on our ADOPT page on our website:
http://forgottenfelinesct.org
Call us at 860-669-1347 for more information or to speak with an adoption team member. In-state adoptions only.
NOTE: You should receive an automatic reply email when you apply online. If you do not receive one, please resubmit your application (sorry- there are sometimes glitches!!). In cases where a requested cat or kitten gets adopted before we get to your application, please let us know if you are open to adopt any other cat or kitten, otherwise your application is not processed. Thanks!!
