Meet Olivia

It’s hard to take photos of a cat that’s rubbing against your ankles, but we did our best! Olivia, the young, long- haired buff tabby momma cat of our foster litter is a sweet thing. She likes a calm, quiet environment but tolerates our kids petting both her and her kittens. Olivia is small and young, (possibly even a teenage mom- oops!) Now that she’s got the kittens weaned and she’s spayed, she can’t wait to find a forever family with sunny spots to nap and ankle rub.

At the time you are seeing this post, this cat is still available for adoption. But please know that we may be working on multiple applications already, and any one of them could be approved at any time. Please READ THIS ENTIRE DESCRIPTION and complete an adoption application, if you are interested in any of our animals. Application at https://greendogsunleashed.org/forms/cat-adoption-application/ (make sure you choose the cat application and not the dog application). If you send an inquiry to ask if the cat is still available, or just tell us you are interested, your inquiry will not be answered. FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. We can do NOTHING without that.

*/*/* PLEASE NOTE: The first communication you will receive after completing an application will be an email response, which will have instructions on how to proceed. Please check your inbox AND spam folders for the next 48 hours, for this email. We will not begin processing an application without the information requested in that email. */*/*

*/*/* Young kittens will receive age-appropriate vaccines, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adopters may be required to provide additional boosters and a rabies vaccine. Future annual vaccines, testing and healthcare are REQUIRED, and will be the financial responsibility of the adopter.

Please note you must submit an application and be approved before a meet and greet will be scheduled. You can fill out an application here: https://greendogsunleashed.org/forms/cat-adoption-application/

While we do allow out of state adoptions, the adopter must be able to travel to Charlottesville, Virginia and meet in person at an agreed upon time to take their cat home.

GDU does ask a minimum adoption donation of 120.00 for cats. This is a minimum donation and does not cover all expenses as we are funded solely by the angels and volunteers willing to donate time and finances. This minimum donation includes age appropriate vaccines and flea and tick treatment, as well as neutering or spaying if the animal is medically sound to undergo surgery. This minimum donation does not even begin to cover the actual expenses each animal has while in rescue, but does go directly towards vet care for our rescue animals. To fill out an application for adoption, please go to https://greendogsunleashed.org/forms/cat-adoption-application/.
