Oliver is a common tale we hear in rescue ALL the time. Oliver is a timid, shy but sweet kitty found seeking food at a colony on the campus of William Paterson in NJ. Oliver had been getting beat up on by the resident cats who didn't accept him into their colony.
Oliver was thankfully rescued off the campus and brought to a home where he was given some TLC, vaccinated, neutered and treated for infections he developed. Oliver is shy with people, as he likely has been outdoors since he was a kitten. He is not at all mean, never hisses, strikes or tries to hurt any human. He recognizes people who take care of him. He will stand back at a distance but will seek your attention with his large puppy eyes! He loves food and other cats. If you currently have cats at home who may seek companionship Oliver gets along with all cats. He currently shares his space in our rescue cattery with 8 other cats. He has never asserted himself over food or space. He is happy to warm, fed and not threatened living outdoors.
