Meet Olive

Olive has a rescue story that will melt anyone's heart. She was rescued in July by a CCR volunteer who played her kitten videos on Youtube to lure her out of a pipe below a deck, saving her from drowning.

Olive has bloomed in to a beautiful girl in her foster home, with beautiful black fur as soft as velvet. She has a sweet demeanor, she loves to lay on your lap, purring and flopping around for belly rubs. If you dare to stop petting her before she is done she will give you little meeps, to let you know you should probably keep petting her.

She carries her toys all around the house, so if you find a few in her food or water dish, don't be surprised. She does have a tendency to 'scream' at you when you maker her dinner, but was assure you, she is very grateful! Olive and her brother Mighty Mouse love each other, they will keep you entertained by chasing each other around the house and with sweet sleeping embraces.

If you would like to meet and possibly adopt Olive and her brother Mighty Mouse, contact Cindy: (773)203-0215, or email: cindy@chicagocatrescue.org

At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone.

Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home.

CCR adopts to homes in Chicago, or to homes that are within a few miles of our foster families. We do not ship cats or kittens. No exceptions.

Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes. If you think you could provide a loving foster situation for a cat in need, or would like to learn more about our foster program, please email us, info@chicagocatrescue.org. Thank you!
