O'Hare and Rosey Domestic Short Hair Evanston, IL

Hi all, my name is O'Hare (orange male) and this is my new friend Rosey (brown tabby female). We live in a home with kids, dogs, cats, and lots of cat trees. It is the best!

I was found in an empty parking lot at O'Hare airport, crying my heart out while sitting next to a truck. Some nice people brought me to PCCR. I was very thirsty, hungry, and sick. Luckily, with lots of icky meds and fluids in my neck, I got better. I hung out with all of the resident animals in the home and just love people, but wanted a friend of my own. That's when Rosey came into the picture.

Hi, my name is Rosey. My favorite things in life are wet food and climbing. I am from Louisiana, but PCCR brought me up to the midwest when the shelter got full. My two brothers were very bonded so they went to another foster home and I have been paired with O'Hare. He's very nice and shares his blanket with me. He lies on the floor watching the wand toy for waaaaay too long. I prefer to jump from couch to window to cat tree and then catch the mouse wand toy. I spend most of the day thinking about wet food. It is soooo good! I sometimes inhale it in two bites. O'Hare loves to be held and is constantly purring. I like affection too, but sometimes there is too much to explore and too many human kisses. Yuck! And NEVER enough food!

Rosey and O'Hare are outgoing, friendly and so entertaining. Between Rosey's food shenanigans and Hairy's purring these two are just the best. They also love to go outside on a leash and harness! They would do well with a family with children and other pets.
