Meet October

October is a sweet and loving 13-year-old orange tabby looking for a home as comfortable as a cashmere sweater and as warm as curling up by the fire.

October is easily spooked, so he does best in a quieter home with patient humans willing to give him the time and space he needs for him to realize his new place is not a horror, but a home. October loves to chase the laser pointer, darting out and around trying to catch the elusive light. After a good play session he will let out a meow that, like a good mulled cider, is a little bit sweet and a little bit spice, insisting on food or a good snuggle session.

October does have some fog in the form of cataracts in both eyes that are likely to worsen over time, although he still is able to see. He does not need to take any medication currently for the cataracts. He also has some dental sensitivity that requires him to eat solely wet food.

October would do best as the sole pumpkin in your home patch as he thrives without other cats, dogs, or young children. His ideal home would be a calmer setting, affectionate adults, a trick with the laser pointer games, and a treat with some catnip.

October is a sweet cat ready to snuggle up whether by the light of the fire, or the light of the full moon. Are you ready to change the season in October’s life to one filled with the love of a forever family? Apply to meet October at Pet Haven MN!
