Ocean's 12's Story

Ocean’s 12 is the embodiment of silliness! This 8 month old tabby boy sleeps most of the afternoon, saving his energy for his nighttime hijinks - running up and down the hallways at lightning speed, attacking wire bird toys, and doing somersaults over small toys.

He’s been in a foster home with older children. He will occasionally mistake a human limb for a toy, so we’re teaching him how to be gentle and play with no claws. But he is also a lovebug and happily snuggles up next to us. My kids discovered he loves “baby time” - being held like a little baby and getting head scratches. His tail may twitch once but he’ll soon bliss out and fall asleep.

When he’s not napping he loves to be with humans - he’ll be a little shadow and follow you from room to room, chatting occasionally (he isn’t extremely vocal unless he’s hungry). He loves to get underfoot and then sit next to anyone who might be on a couch or bed.

He seems to want to scratch while standing on his back legs, and refused floor-based scratchers. I think we would appreciate a standing scratching post.

Ocean is a fearless explorer, who loves jumping in the dishwasher and cupboards and in and out of other household appliances. We haven’t seen him with dogs or other cats so can’t provide any information there. But he is a source of endless entertainment - everyone’s screen time has gone down considerably since they have him to watch.

This sweet guy is going to be an endless source of entertainment and sweetness for his adopter or adopters!

This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
