O J Domestic Short Hair & Tabby Mix Tracy, CA

Sweet OJ appeared in one of our fosters garages, sadly, he was most likely dumped in the neighborhood. At first he was timid, but in a short time his personality started to shine, and he turned out to be super friendly. It was apparent that someone loved him because he thrives on affection. OJ is one guy that won't pass up on a belly rub, and loves to be held like a baby. Scratch his chin and he is will love you for life. OJ is a super mellow guy and has become quite the shadow to our foster, he follows her everywhere. He is super quiet, well mannered, Currently, he is living with a couple of kitties and dogs. Because he is the new guy in town, his presence with the other kitties has not been favorable, dogs too... he may do well as an only cat, where he can be "numero uno", OR, if you are a savvy pet owner willing to take the time for proper introductions, he is the perfect guy to consider making him a family member. OJ is approx. 4-5 years old and is ready to meet his forever family!! OUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF BEFORE ADOPTING:
Adoption isn't an impulsive decision, it must be thought out carefully. Owning a cat is a 15 to 20+ year commitment. Can we afford a cat? If we're renting do they allow pets here? Is there a pet deposit? Can we afford the pet deposit? What if we get sick, what if the kitty becomes ill and has to see a veterinarian? Kitty requires routine check-ups, annual vaccines, quality food, litter and toys, can we afford this? These are all questions a responsible pet owner must ask themselves.
