Meet Nutmeg
Meet Nutmeg – A Sweet and Chatty Young Mama
My name is Nutmeg, and I’m a beautiful gray and tan tabby with white on my chin and feet. I’m about a year old, and I have a little stump of a tail that makes me extra unique.
Lone Star Pawz rescued me from one of Houston’s overcrowded shelters when I was very pregnant. Just days later, I had my three kittens safe in my foster home, with plenty of food, toys, and love. I felt so grateful that I started purring and making biscuits the very first day!
I love greeting my humans with a cheerful “meowr” (I’m pretty chatty!) and I especially enjoy pets, attention, and my favorite treat—Churus. My foster says I must have been loved as a kitten because I’m so gentle, social, and comfortable around people. I play with my kittens, sometimes showing them how to pounce on the wand toy or wrestle gently with their mama.
Now that my babies are nearly ready for adoption, it’s time for me to find my forever home too. If you’re looking for a sweet, mellow, and talkative companion, I could be your girl.
