Meet Norman

Hello, my furiends! Norm! Cheers to our good friend! Norman is a 2-year-old grey tabby who loves to roam and explore and meow, trill, and chirp to himself while doing it. Mealtime is one of his favorite times, and we are still trying to figure out which treats he enjoys best. He loves a laser and he is a graceful beam chaser. He can often be found napping in a cardboard box, a cat tower or sunbathing in the window, watching the world pass by. Norman is affectionate and will squish and head-butt his way into your heart. A big plopper - a floppy fish hard plop on the floor next to you followed by a rollover for some belly rubs will get this boy purring. Norman is quite gentle and will often give your hand a quick lick when he wants more head scratches. He doesn't mind being picked up and held. Norman is being fostered with other cats and loves to run around with them - not a dominant kitty and is not aggressive towards the other cats in the home. He will be an excellent cat companion for your cat and you! He has not been around dogs or young children.

Thank you for being so interested in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue! If you see this post, we still accept applications for this cat(s)/kitten(s). Please refrain from emailing us regarding availability.

All adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, microchip, rabies, and distemper vaccinations, proof of FIV/feline leukemia testing, flea treatment, deworming, and an exam by a licensed veterinarian.

Our shelter hours are by appointment only and are not open to the public. Many of our cats and kittens are located in foster homes. An adoption application MUST be submitted and approved before meeting our cats/kittens. We do this for the safety of our fosters and potential adopters.

Our adoption process includes the following:

4. Home Visit
Please make sure you are located in our vicinity. We are based in Warwick, RI. Due to COVID-19, we are currently conducting virtual home visits until further notice.

**Please note: Our volunteers try their hardest to contact every applicant in a timely manner but are often overwhelmed with a high volume of applications. Please allow up to two weeks for a response. We ask you to please be considerate and refrain from sending multiple follow-up emails or submitting duplicate applications.
