Norman Domestic Short Hair Mix Papillion, NE
- Good in a home with
- Other cats, dogs, children.
But the good news is we have him! He's now healthy, neutered, and as lovable a cat as anyone could ask for. Whoever adopts him needs to understand FIV. It's feline aids. It's an immunodeficiency disease. He caught it from a bite from another tom cat probably. People cannot get it. Cats can only pass it via saliva to blood; a vicious bite. He can live a normal life with a normal lifespan. He just needs to be monitored closely for infections and treated quickly for them. We boost his system with some food additives and we can advise on a supportive diet.
We'd like Normie to go to a home who can love him unconditionally. He deserves that. He needs to be indoors ONLY. He can live with other friendly cats. Or other cats who have been vaccinated for FIV or are FIV postive as well. He would be a great addition to any family! He's the brightest spirit. And one of the rescue favorites.
