Norma Jean and her family showed up at the front porch and the family instantly fell in love with them and are now fostering them in Salinas. While the entire Marilyn Monroe Litter required some medical attention, everyone is completely healthy now and ready for adoption. Norma Jean has always been the boldest and most curious of the litter. While a bit small for her age, she doesn't let that hold her back from chasing her brothers and exploring her world. Norma Jean is a talkative and social kitten and when she's not hanging out with her foster parents, she's lounging with her siblings Lorelei and DiMaggio and her mom Marilyn Monroe. We require an adoption application. We contact the applicant for a phone interview and to schedule a meet and greet. After the meet and greet, we collect the adoption fee and pass the pet along to their new family.

Our mission: To reduce the number of unwanted litters in South Monterey County by providing access to free or low-cost spay/neuter services for dogs and domestic and feral cats. We also work with our rescue neighborhood partners to help animals in need of new homes.
